Getting ready for States! ♥

Baby spent close to 600 bucks on winter clothing yesterday at Vivo City.

But it's definitely worth it!

The best buy will go to the Timberland jacket which cost baby S$200+!

Look at the amount of things we still have to buy!

And look at the number of clothings we have to wear during winter!

Therefore, my wishlist for X'mas this year will be scarfs, ear muffs, leg warmer, gloves etc etc.

Basically, it's all stuffs which I can wear for winter :)

Less than 5 months before I leave for the States.

Quite excited!

And I'm still deciding when should I tender my resignation & to be frank, I really can't wait for that day to come man.

But, a part of me can't bear to leave, because I've got wonderful colleagues.

Contradicting ya?

On a lighter note, managed to get the pictures taken during Lynette & Adrian's wedding in September.

It's been ages since baby & I go pak-tor-ing...

And since baby was on leave on Tuesday, he came to fetch me after work & off we went to Vivo City.

Missed Marche a lot, therefore, we had it for dinner!

Original rosti with chicken cheese - a must have for me each time I went there!

Baby's dinner. So unlike of him to eat so little for dinner wor...

But he really was pleased with his dinner!

Haiz, I seem to have grown fatter!

Our latest gadgets!!!

Bought a SONY VAIO white lappy some time back during the Sitex IT Show.

It's actually meant for baby to use when he's going to St. Louis for his course in February.

LG ice cream phone.

I got a white one last Saturday & I'm loving it!

Not much functions but at least, it's slim & chic!

Am still deciding if I should add some blings on it...

P/S: missed the SC run on Sunday, as I'm alone...

P/S/S: went praying with baby & FIL last night. i've been damn suay nowadays...

Just finished doing our ROM solemnisation collages.

Before that, I would like to express our sincere thanks to all our lovely friends & colleagues who made the effort to attend this event.

Because of all of you, this event is a success & indeed a memorable one, not only for Brandon & me, but for all of you too!

Because of your blessings, this marriage will definitely be a blissful & everlasting one!

Anyway, it really feels great to be Mrs Lim now. Hehe...

BTO - Punggol Arcadia

I've been logging in to the HDB website, like more than 4 times a week.

And I fell in love with the newly launched BTO scheme for Punggol Arcadia.

Isn't it nice?

I even went on to ballot for it without consulting baby lor. (ahem, it was because i couldn't reach him when he's at work hor)

But alas, we can only know the result in January next year.

Hope we can get a really really nice queue number this time round.

Baby & I made our way down to HDB this afternoon to view the showflat.

Punggol Arcadia. We really loved this place a lot!

Another bedroom. I loved this concept. Will use this concept for our master bedroom as well. Can kind of save money on the bed haha.

After this visit, I have a rough idea of how I want our love nest to be like!

All we can do now is to hope & pray!!!

Traumatized!

Traumatized is the only word I can think of to describe how I feel for the past few weeks.

And this has got nothing to do with my wedding thingy.

I enjoy every moment spent with baby, for the wedding preparations.

Well, basically I'm forcing myself to wake up at 7.30am every morning, and dragging myself to work everyday.

I dread going to work!

The more I work here, the more ugly Singaporeans I will see.

And the more I can't wait to leave this pathetic country.

Colleagues have been telling me to forgive them, because they are patients, because they are sick.

But does being sick means you are the king or queen meh?

My parents don't give birth to me to have to tolerate all these nonsense.

Come on, I'm just like any other normal working adult, just wanting to earn money, to provide a more comfortable life to my parents who are old, to provide for my own family in future.

It's just as simple as that.

I'm also a human being. A human being who has feelings too. A human feeling who will fall sick too. A human being who has her own bad temper as well.

Who can I vent my anger on when I'm being mis-treated at work? Or rather, when I'm being ABUSED mentally at work?

I just don't understand, why, as a patient, they have every right to raise their voice at staffs, to make things difficult for staffs, or even worse still, have every right to curse & swear at staffs!

Yet, we staffs, can only suffer in silence!

During my 14 months of work in this place, no one had ever bothered to console me when I had a break down.

They seems to think that I can handle all these shit, when in actual fact, they are not my patients at all!

With this amount of miserable pay I'm getting, I have to take all these shit from patients from other department!

They are getting a much more higher pay than me, yet they dare to expect me to entertain their CRAZY, IDIOTIC patients!

I think it has reached my limit. It is getting from bad to worse.

If this carry on, I think I will be the one who will be send to IMH.

THEY HAVE TO STOP TAKING ME FOR GRANTED!

And in order to free myself from all these pain, I'm going to ignore every single of those crazy people completely!

Afterall, they don't pay me a single cent for what I've suffered, not even a word of encouragement!

Mark my words : I WILL MEAN WHAT I SAY TODAY, IN THIS POST!

And later in the night, this Tony called me & asked me the same old question again (the reason for my cancellation).

And I gave him the same old reply, in a very irritated tone.

He kept asking me the same old questions, like for 3 times lor.

I refused to answer him anymore (it's a waste of my time talking to someone who can't get anything into his head. i might as well continue watching my drama).

So, in the end, he say he will transfer the money back to me.

And for the Love tags, he can still use it for other customers.

Haiz, I really wonder how he do business one.

First, he said that it was ready & cannot be cancelled.

Then he say he will sell it to other people who ordered from him.

CONTRADICTING LA!!!

So friends, do think twice if you want to do business with Suite Success.

p/s: i finally got the ang pow box which we both love it a lot! and the feather pens, and the pens for guests to sign my guest book. and last of all, my guest book which is not in the book form!

Great Eastern Women Run

Managed to finished my 5km GE run last Sunday.

Haha, actually, we ran the 1st km, then walked for the next 3 km, and ran again for the last km.

So in total, we ran only 2km!

And the after effects?

I'm having muscle ache all over now :(

The caricature portrait is hand drawn using marker ink. So not able to make any amendments. The best I can do for you is to redraw another one free for you (by rights, to redraw there will be additional charge of $30).

But so far every couple we've done loves their drawing the first time round. Do understand it is a caricature, not a photograph. Even your IC photo don't quite look like you (even though it's taken by camera), do you agree? So do manage your expectations. =)

Once ready will let you know, and you'll have to choose between the two.

Look at Brandon's eyes in the caricature.

The caricaturist drew it in such a way that he looked at least 10 years older!

Up to today, I still feel very angry whenever I read this email!

I don't understand what the swine meant by 'do manage your expectations.'

And when I went down to look at your items, you did not for ONCE mentioned that I'll have to pay 30 bucks for a re-draw!

So what if you are willing to draw it for free now?

I DON'T FREAKING GIVE A DAMN TO IT!

Don't compare me with other couples who love the drawing the first time round.

And I dare to say that my IC photo looked like me as well.

There isn't much change in me 13 years ago, or 13 years later!

If not for the fact that I love your ang pow box, I wouldn't even wanna use your services!

Now that things had turned out in this way, I've made up my mind to DIY my own ang pow box, my own guest book & I'll forgo the caricature!

Rest In Peace, Weiliang - 1982 to 2008

This is the second time I learnt of my friend's death through newspapers.

Both passed away in freaking road accidents.

Weiliang, whom I known many years back, was the passenger in the car which claimed his life.

I was reading the Chinese newspapers when I came across the article of this accident.

And somehow or rather, I find the picture very familiar.

I kept on looking at it & suddenly, it dawned on me that it was my friend.

To clear my doubt, I even sms-ed one mutual friend of ours & true enough, it was indeed him!

It was already sad enough that both the driver & passenger had passed away, but still, there were some SUPER-DUPER freaking ass holes out there, who are still saying brainless things on the 2 deceased.

Some moroon actually took a video 7 minutes after the accident & posted it on youtube.

And still continued to pass sacarstic remarks on sgforums.

OMFG! What had the world become to!!!

Do you think these two pics look alike???

For me, I think that my eyes looked very crossed & why is my tiara being replaced by a crown???

For Brandon, his droopy eyes make him looked so old & that chin of his sucks la.

Overall, I hated the caricature!!!

Please, give me your feedback. I need them urgently!

p/s: i need your feedbacks so that i can get my deposit of 100 bucks back from the company whom i engaged to do the caricature. i don't want their services anymore.

Wedding Photo Shoot

We had our wedding photo shoot last Thursday.

We had so much fun during our indoor shoot, but sweat like hell during our outdoor shoot.

In the end, we were tired like hell.

Bintan Trip - 150908 to 170908

Had a short trip to Bintan with baby last week.

Had fun during the trip, super shiok sun-tanning sessions over 3 days!

And I loved the colour of my skin now!!!

Day 1

While waiting for our ferry at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.

Gonna reach Bintan in an hour time!

I wanna thank my baby for taking care of me during our ride, as I'm suffering from sea-sick!!!

Finally, we are at Nirwana Garden Resort. Started cam-whoring while waiting for our room to be ready.

Our spacious garden view deluxe room! It's damn cozy la!!!

Unpacked our luggage & get changed for our 1st baking session, because the weather was freaking good!

However, just after an hour, I started feeling unwell, thus we had to go back to our room for a rest.

Sorry baby!

Decided to take a walk around Nirwana after our dinner.

Headed back to our room to watch tv & to continue our DVDs as well.

Day 2

Our breakfast at The Coffee House. Hmmm, the food was so-so only.

It feels great walking hand in hand by the beach after our breakfast, that is, with my baby la!

The scenery was very very beautiful!

Proceed to use their gym after our walk.

Haiz, I'm really useless lor. I felt very weak & tired just after an hour of workout...

Ice cream, ice lemon tea, beach bar - this is the lovely combination after staying under the sun for an hour plus.

Took the free bus down to The Kelong for our sumptuous dinner!

Our dinner - total cost is around S$50 plus.

It's actually quite worth it. Although it was charged in Sing dollars, but the portion were so huge that both of us got a shock lor.

We even had to ta-bao our fried rice back to hotel. Hee hee...

Started our nonsense while waiting for the bus to bring us back to Nirwana.

Back at Nirwana once again.

Day 3

It's our last day.

Oops, I forgot to mention that we had 2 days of free breakfast in our package.

We had a really good tan on our last day.

We felt super relaxed over here that we don't feel like going back to Singapore, back to our stressful life!

We really hate to leave Bintan la!

I hope to visit Bintan again before we leave for US...

I'm Engaged!

Finally, it's time to announce that baby had proposed to me, but not officially yet!

Well, it had been confirmed that he will be posted to US for 2 years.

And it's impossible for him to leave me all alone in Singapore for 2 whole years, plus I can't bear to be away from him for so long, thus, we decided to get married & spend the next 2 years in US, together!

Anyway, both our families are supportive of our decision & our ROM cum wedding lunch date had been fixed!

Been busy looking for our wedding bands, bridal shop etc etc for the past 2 weeks.

It was kinda rush & I'm so afraid that we make hasty decisions that we actually took leave from work to source for all the things.

And finally, we decided on Golden Horse Awards Bridal Shop for our wedding portfolio.

Went for the 1st round of gown fitting last Saturday.

The back of this gown looked damn chio, pretty right?

But... but... but...

I don't like the front. It looked like SHELL!!!

So, I'm giving up on this piece.

Baby & I really love this gown a lot!

It has got the kind of Greek feeling & we think it's quite unique to include this in our portfolio.

Although the front look very normal & plain but I love the back view of it!

I'm sure it will look better with make up, hair-do & accessories!

And tadah! My wedding gown for photoshoot! My colleagues said that it was 'SO ME' when I showed them. So cute of them!

But, I love this a lot too!!!

Last but not least, we chose this gown for our outdoor shoot!

Will be having both our studio & outdoor photoshoot next next Thursday & I really can't wait for that day to come!

I bet it's going to be fun! Lots of fun!!!

And after browsing for few weeks, we decided to get wedding bands from Goldheart.

They are called 'Felicite' wedding bands, with a blue sapphire each.

Managed to find the picture of our wedding bands online but decided against posting up first. Shall do it when the time is ripe.

So, in the meantime, let me post up a pic of the proposal ring baby got for me!

RSAF Open House 2008

Went down to Paya Lebar Air Base for the RSAF Open House 2008 on Sunday.

Actually, I'm supposed to go down with one of my colleague, but it was cancelled last minute.

In the end, I still went down alone, despite the lousy weather & the possibility that I'll be left alone.

Because baby sounded disappointed when I told him I'm not going down anymore.

So, being his lovely girlfriend, I kept my promise to him & he promised he will try to accompany me

The crowd wasn't as bad as what I thought, maybe because of the Comex IT Show at Suntec as well.

Watched the airshow. The sound were deafening!

Singapore Fireworks Celebration 2008

Headed down for the Singapore Fireworks Celebration 2008 held at Marina Bay Floating Gallery last night with baby & friends.

It had been AGES since we last went there.

And since we had nothing on & most of our friends are going, so why not.

It's time for us to catch up with friends & to burn some fats as well.

At Dragonfly - a place that hold wonderful memories for us :)

But I guess age is really catching up on us, as we left around 3 plus...

On a happier note, I finally got my diamond ring!

Thanks to baby!!!

I kept hinting to baby that I saw a diamond ring which I really love & he brought me to buy it today!!!

(But I suspect it's because he can't stand all my naggings, haha!)
